Dubai, UAE, November 24, 2004 - Home Essentials Middle East Limited, a subsidiary of Home Essentials, the largest furniture rental company outside the US, today announced an historic agreement with Chelsea Partners LLP to provide leased furnishings and other services to the business and private residents of the Chelsea Tower & Chelsea Tower Apartments in Dubai, UAE.

The agreement marks the first time that any business traveler and/or frequent visitor to this Middle East hub will be able to benefit from the cost-savings and maintenance-free programs afforded through furniture leasing arrangements. Currently, temporary or permanent residents in the Middle East are required to purchase furniture and other necessities and manage their own upkeep programs – a difficult task for busy executives and travelers.

Christopher Exline, CEO of Home Essentials, stated, "This landmark agreement ushers in an entirely new era of efficiency for the service apartment industry in the Middle East. Occupants will have flexibility in selecting furniture, including never-before-seen styles. We are raising the standards for service apartments. The tenants will be the true beneficiaries."

He added that, in contrast to other projects in the Middle East, the tenants of Chelsea Tower & Chelsea Tower Apartments in Dubai will actually have an option to change furniture to fit their needs. Home Essentials will provide a wide range of services in addition to the provision and installation of the furniture. Those services include full-time maintenance, furniture exchange, warranties, and other innovative "firsts" for the Middle East.

In describing this new relationship, Mr. Karim Kassam, Director of Chelsea Partners stated, "Despite our extensive experience in hotels and extended-stay housing, we never encountered a company demonstrating the flexibility and range of options offered by Home Essentials. In each instance, they worked closely with our teams to create a program with an overarching focus on the customer. Their commitment mirrors closely with ours."

Chelsea Partners LLP of Dubai directs the leasing and management for Chelsea Tower & Chelsea Tower Apartments, a 50-story residential building consisting of 281 apartments. Of the 281 homes, 56 will be deluxe or superior homes with more refined furnishings and accessories. The Tower is listed on the global directory of skyscrapers.

Developed by Al Salam Group of Dubai, UAE, the building is known for its impressive architecture and functional floor plans, making it a prime address in Dubai. Lease terms range from a few nights to 12 months. The primary target customers are business travelers, companies needing corporate apartments, and holiday travelers. The building has covered parking, restaurants, fitness facilities and a swimming pool.

Chelsea plans to open Chelsea Tower & Chelsea Tower Apartments in late December, 2004.
